Wow, my skin is so bipolar. =/ Now it absolutely hates Revlon and even MAC!! WTF, face??? The only thing that I can put on my face without me looking like a total train wreck is mineral foundation. It's a lot more natural looking but I hate how it sits in my fine lines!! I am only 23 and by the end of the day, I look like my grandma. =(

Ok, so on Monday, I did my makeup a little differently. Busted out my Bare Minerals and went as natural as I can bare going. Haha. This is what my face looked like...
I am wearing Viva Glam Gaga in this last pic. Subtle face with lips that pop! I wore Snob in the pancake face pic. So I basically have no idea what this post is about. It's been a few days so I had the itch to post. Yet my substance is lacking... Hmmm...
Donna, I know you complain about your face too. What do you do to it?? LOL. I don't even really know if my skin is sensitive or anything. It's just an asshole. Bare Minerals itches my face. =(
If you read my nonsense blog, then you know that I tried Revlon Color Stay and hated it. Well, now I like it. :D Haha! After fighting with it for so long, I found a way to make it behave on my face!!!
A few reasons why I hated it.
- It dries really fast and isn't very blendable
- My pores and fine lines were AWFUL!!
- Kinda cakey
Now how I apply it.
- Tinted moisturizer!
- Primer
- Apply foundation with my fingers
- Stipple more foundation where I have redness
- Brush on powder
- Press a wet sponge all over my face
Ta da! The wet sponge is my secret weapon! It sets everything and makes it look like skin! No more cake face! I still have a problem with it on my nose though. It tends to kinda dry out and make it look like I have freckles... That's when I bust out my MAC and pat a little on my nose!
I really like my new foundation routine for every day! MAC is still my baby boo though.
The Revlon does make my face look a little bumpy though. =( I am still working on fixing that problem. You can see it more in this pic.

Lately I have been having some issues with my face... It's such a pain in the ass. LOL. Every foundation thus far SUCKS! Ugh.. Ok, so I have been a MAC whore for years but I always knew that the foundation will break you out! Anyways, I picked up a bottle of it for my photo shoots and such a few months ago. Love the coverage but it is super heavy and makes me look cakey. =( I started wearing it so often that I broke out!! Ugh!!
Now what?? I bought Bare Minerals Matte from Sephora. It made my face totally itchy and sat in my pores. YUCK! I used to love that stuff when I was younger! What happened??? =(
So now I have no foundation AGAIN... But inspired by the beauty bloggers, I swooped up the Revlon Photo Finish... FAIL AGAIN. My face was sparkly and it sat in my pores. Sigh... I really wanted to like it. That would be awesome to be in love with a drug store brand! It would save me so much money!!! Thinking that things would be different with their similar friend, I got the Revlon Color Stay and....
IT SUCKS!
So here I am with no foundation that I want to wear. Both the Revlon ones sat in my fine lines and pores but had really nice coverage. I am so sad.
If you have any suggestions for good foundation, let me know! I am on the hunt!!
For now I will use my tinted moisturizer during the day and good ole MAC for special occasions. Boooooooo!
