Foundation Issues

Lately I have been having some issues with my face... It's such a pain in the ass. LOL. Every foundation thus far SUCKS! Ugh.. Ok, so I have been a MAC whore for years but I always knew that the foundation will break you out! Anyways, I picked up a bottle of it for my photo shoots and such a few months ago. Love the coverage but it is super heavy and makes me look cakey. =( I started wearing it so often that I broke out!! Ugh!! 

Now what?? I bought Bare Minerals Matte from Sephora. It made my face totally itchy and sat in my pores. YUCK! I used to love that stuff when I was younger! What happened??? =( 

So now I have no foundation AGAIN... But inspired by the beauty bloggers, I swooped up the Revlon Photo Finish... FAIL AGAIN. My face was sparkly and it sat in my pores. Sigh... I really wanted to like it. That would be awesome to be in love with a drug store brand! It would save me so much money!!! Thinking that things would be different with their similar friend, I got the Revlon Color Stay and....

IT SUCKS!

So here I am with no foundation that I want to wear. Both the Revlon ones sat in my fine lines and pores but had really nice coverage. I am so sad. 

If you have any suggestions for good foundation, let me know! I am on the hunt!!

For now I will use my tinted moisturizer during the day and good ole MAC for special occasions. Boooooooo!

Asian Night!

Lipstick!

So lately I have been obsessed with watching beauty bloggers on youtube! I love it!! Unfortunately, I have a new addiction!! These Maybelline Color Sensational lipsticks! I went out and bought three of them... and then three more... Ugh. 

 I only have five pictured here due to my sister being a thief. LOL. So the colors that I bought are- 

• Warm Me Up
• Pink Please
• Pink Peony
• Peachy Scene
• Born With It
• Pink Sand

The one that was stolen was my only neutral color. =( It was nice but lately I have been into pink lipsticks. They are super pigmented and I actually LIKE the smell! If you do plan on buying them, do make sure that you smell them first because some smell like plastic!! All mine are the nice coconut smelly ones. Haha! Oh, they are also super moisturizing!! I give them a 9 out of 10! My only problem with them is that they need more colors!! Haha! 40 just isn't enough!! =D

Maybelline is doing big things! I have been a total makeup snob since forever and would ONLY buy MAC or the likes of it. Now I am won over by these fantastic lipsticks! Plus they are CHEAP!!!! I love them!

Ok, enough ranting about this. Just thought you guys should know. If you would like me to do some swatches or whatnot and get more into this review, let me know. =) 

I mixed a bunch of them together but this one is mostly the Peachy Scene one. Haha! Ok, I'm outta here! =)

This Weekend!

Had a lot of fun this weekend! Performed at Barracuda and got to hang out with a lot of old friends! =) I was a bit hung over on Saturday but managed to survive. Yesterday was amazing. The weather was beautiful and I went out to Monterey with a special someone. Here is a picture of me eating an oyster.

 Well, I'm not really eating it. I inhaled it right after this picture was taken though. I slurped that ish down and it was delicious. If I could eat seafood every day, I would. Mercury poison or not.

Last one. I just haven't blogged in a bit so I am just updating. LOL. I went to din din with my two really great friends! Lauren and Chris! We went to my FAVORITE restaurant! It is called En and they have the BEST Japanese food. The real ish. I get mentaiko and gindara kasuzuke every time!! Mmmm!! I think I may go tonight! =D

Well, I just wanted to do a little update and let everyone know that I am not dead. We have a show coming up on the 15th and then back to Tokyo on the 23rd. Woo hoo!! I will post details about the show later. Holla!

Getting sexy with Bestie

Got some pics back from a recent shoot. Sorry I haven't been posting but there has been nothing exciting in my life lately. LOL! Just lots of shopping cuz I have a problem... Keep me away from the mall!!!!

 Bestie did such a good job on her first shoot!! She looks amazing! We had a blast that day too!

Haha. It has been quite busy for me the past few days. Last night I went to the Jill Scott and Maxwell concert that my dad worked. Backstage VIP, biatch! LOL! Right after that concert, The JAPAS had a show. So we performed. We didn't get home until five in the morning!! I woke up today and had to go to the E-40 and Bone Thugs concert. Backstage VIP again. HOLLA. 

So now here I am... exhausted... yet still I am blogging. Hmmmm...

Throw backs!

It's no secret that I lost 45 lbs not too long ago. Hooray! I just wanted to post up some throw back pics. Back in the day! Haha!

 We would be out clubbing all the time! I had so much fun with my girls! Back in the day when I was young! I'm not a kid anymore... Haha! Most of these pics are from the summer of 08 so I was just barely 21. Awww, how much has changed! Glad I lost the weight though. =D

Thursday night was great fun! We performed in Berkeley and got a little tipsy! We left the club around 1:30 AM to go hop in the car and drive home and guess what! The effing garage was closed! OMG! A cab was going to cost $175 and we would have to come back the next day to get the car... Luckily there was a hotel right across the street! We got a room and ate some disgusting garlic fries but hey, everything tastes good when you are drunk. 

We literally slept for an hour and a half at the most. Got up at six AM and drove home. Horrible. I need at least 14 hours of sleep to function. Mehh.. I slept for almost two days after that. Felt like death...

There were five of us and we had two double beds... I was  pretty drunk and since I didn't sleep much, I really didn't have time to get a hang over. Woo hoo! Gotta look at the positives. Now we know for future referance to check the time the garage closes.

So I was thinking....

My blog is pretty effing boring. I'm not being the real me and it's just blah. I believe it is time to let the real me out. Here I go. Ready? Ready? AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!

That felt good.

My personality is not bland. I'm kind of a weirdo...

Things that scare me (in no particular order cuz I'm afraid of a lot of things)-

• Under water creatures. I'm not too fond of anything with an exoskeleton or fish for that matter. Unless it is on my plate.
• Ghosts. Ask me. I have had one too many encounters with these phantom nightmares. JUST GO AWAY!
• Blood. My own makes me want to faint and die. FAST. I'm getting light headed just thinking about it.... UGHHHH.
• Being suspended and flipped around. Wondering what the f I am talking about?? Oh, just the friendly ride we see at all fairs and carnivals. The name? *Pause* The.. The Zipper. Once I was taken for a ride against my will and gave all the little kids a nice laugh. "Look at that lady crying like a baby!" Oh, the embarrassment of my cute panic attacks.
• Anything that is a creepy crawly hemiptera. For all you dummies, that's a bug. Well, a type of bug. Again, exoskeleton... No thank you.

Ok, now a list of things that make me happy! Hooray!!

• Fuzzy wuzzies- I just love animals! Especially meow heads! >^..^<  Raccoons and red pandas are cute too.
• Music- I only like to listen to music that depicts my mood at the time. Kill yourself by Deftones is on my top played list on iTunes. Only kidding! Remember, I am afraid of blood.
• Eating pork- pretty self explanatory. Comment if you would like me to go into detail. Thanks.
• Friends- Love you, guys! 

If you want me to keep posting about the things I love, you might need to cancel all your appointments for 39 hours. I'll keep you updated.
