Make me over.

Wow, my skin is so bipolar. =/ Now it absolutely hates Revlon and even MAC!! WTF, face??? The only thing that I can put on my face without me looking like a total train wreck is mineral foundation. It's a lot more natural looking but I hate how it sits in my fine lines!! I am only 23 and by the end of the day, I look like my grandma. =(

I don't know why my face hates me so much. If I use any type of liquid foundation, you would think that I am some burn victim trying to cover my scars. Messed up but it's the truth!! Sunday was the last straw! I had a video shoot and like to have lots of coverage for anything that deals with the camera. This was my face...

Yeah. Usually I feel naked without makeup and since Sunday, I can't even think about putting that much crap on my face. Some days primer makes me look nice and others, it's awful... My face is a jerk... 

Ok, so on Monday, I did my makeup a little differently. Busted out my Bare Minerals and went as natural as I can bare going. Haha. This is what my face looked like...

I am wearing Viva Glam Gaga in this last pic. Subtle face with lips that pop! I wore Snob in the pancake face pic. So I basically have no idea what this post is about. It's been a few days so I had the itch to post. Yet my substance is lacking... Hmmm... 

Donna, I know you complain about your face too. What do you do to it?? LOL. I don't even really know if my skin is sensitive or anything. It's just an asshole. Bare Minerals itches my face. =(

Lip swatches

This is for you, Donna! Haha! I am horrible at doing lip swatches because my camera sucks! I hope this helps! =) My lips are pretty pigmented so this is just the lipgloss over my lippies. Haha!

 I wish my lips weren't so dark. LOL. I don't ever wear gloss alone so I always pair it with a matching lipstick. Seriously, they are the best glosses EVER! :D

My lipgloss is poppin!

Lol! For real though!! I wanna talk to you guys about my most favorite lipgloss in the whole world! Glazewear lipgloss from AVON! WTF, right? Haha. My friend gave them to me and I absolutely love them!! Now as you guys know, I am a MAC whore and I have like thirty of their lipglosses. I like the colors of them but they dry out my lips and when I am wearing them, they are hella sticky. =( Alas, I found Glazewear!!

 The two colors I have are Mirage and I think Darling Pink.. The sticker rubbed off. =( Mirage is a sparkle lipgloss and the pink one is shine. I seriously love both of these!! They are so moisturizing and not sticky at all! Perfect to put over your lipstick for that extra umph!! Haha! 

 They are pretty pigmented too! I wear them over any lipstick and when my lipstick is wearing off, I just put more glazewear on. The goldish one is perfect over any nude lip and pink is for pink! Haha! Also, AVON is having a sale for them right now! They are originally six bucks but are on sale for like two!! I am going to buy all of them!

Back to MAC

I am such a lipstick whore and someone needs to take all my money away from me. I went to MAC two days in a row and bought four new lipsticks. Haha. OMG. What is wrong with me? I took some pics to show you guys what I got! 

The lighting makes them all look the same but they are not!! I will describe each one!

The first one is Viva Glam 2. It is a satin and when I purchased it, it was my least favorite of the four. Now it is my second fav! The color seemed a bit dark but I really like it. It is nude with a pinky tone to it. Perfect for when I can't decide if I wanna do nude or pink! Haha!

Second is Myth. I have been dying to get my hands on this and alas! Here it is! Satin as well and I love it! Very creamy and pigmented!! A definite must for that nude lip! My lips feel so moisturized!

Snob! I love the name for this one! Milky pink and oh so cute! Also, another must have! Satin too so I believe it will wear for a long time. :D

Last but not least, well sorta is least. Haha. My least favorite... =( This one is Gaga. It is a lot brighter in real life. The color is nice but I don't care for sheer lipsticks. I want them to POP. This one is a lustre lipstick and I got it because it is limited edition. It's not as creamy feeling and I don't think it will wear very long. =(

Well, I was really excited about my purchases and I hope you guys enjoy! Maybe I should take better pictures of the lipsticks beacuse the ones I posted don't do them justice. Let me know if I should. Haha!

Revlon Color Stay is my new friend!

If you read my nonsense blog, then you know that I tried Revlon Color Stay and hated it. Well, now I like it. :D Haha! After fighting with it for so long, I found a way to make it behave on my face!!! 

A few reasons why I hated it.

1. It dries really fast and isn't very blendable
2. My pores and fine lines were AWFUL!!
3. Kinda cakey 

Now how I apply it.

1. Tinted moisturizer!
2. Primer
3. Apply foundation with my fingers
4. Stipple more foundation where I have redness
5. Brush on powder
6. Press a wet sponge all over my face

Ta da! The wet sponge is my secret weapon! It sets everything and makes it look like skin! No more cake face! I still have a problem with it on my nose though. It tends to kinda dry out and make it look like I have freckles... That's when I bust out my MAC and pat a little on my nose!

I really like my new foundation routine for every day! MAC is still my baby boo though.

The Revlon does make my face look a little bumpy though. =( I am still working on fixing that problem. You can see it more in this pic.

I found the pics!! These are my parents when they were teenagers! Back in the daayyyyyy!

 Haha! Hooray!! I was so happy to find these! I literally looked for hella long!! And one more of me! Just cuz it's my blog and I do what I want.

 They make me look tan. Haha! I have darker features than both of them. Ok, enjoy! I'm off to go watch The Other Guys. Peace!!

Hapa

So I was randomly surfing youtube and I came across a video by this guy talking about Hapas. He said he had met over 50 of them and that he had just encountered his first who had an Asian dad and Caucasian mom... Also, he said that she looked different than the more common mix. Well, let me just link the video here.

Kinda weird, right? LOL. Well, where I am from, there are a lot of Hapas with an Asian dad. Obviously there are more with an Asian mama but what about when both of the parents are Hapa? That's me. Haha. This is a picture of my parents.

I barely look mixed!! I'm just kinda tall.. I guess 5'6 isn't even that tall. Haha. What do you guys think? People say I looked more mixed when I was younger. So here is a pic of me when I was 19.

Oh, so a lot of Hapas have beautiful colored eyes! Like green or hazel! Why was I not one of the chosen to be blessed with those amazing eyes?? I'm not hating on the brown eyes but am a little envious of the other Hapas. Haha. With my grey contacts, you could barely tell. 

Also, my dad gave me an Amazon gift card for 100 bucks. Haha. What should I buy??? >^..^<

1. What do you wear to sleep? ;) I usually wear some type of ugly pink shorts ( I have so many! No clue why I invested in so many ugly pink shorts! =/) and a tank top! Boring! LOL!

5. Do you have any pets? I have a little meow head named Andy and I love her!!! Haha! She is my baby princess!! Coolest cat ever!! She likes to go on car rides and eats melon. =)

Note to self: Wear pants while pedal boating

I am still being a bum. =( So nothing exciting has happened lately. Well today I went pedal boating and I wore a dress. Umm... A heads up for the day would be much appreciated. So many kids in the lake and I am positive they saw my panties. SORRY, KIDS!! DON'T BE LIKE ME, KIDS!!! Haha!

All in all, it was a really cool experience! Just glad that we didn't see any river monsters. That ish is scary! Haha! I think the lesson of the day is - I should probably invest in more pants. Like I said before, pants are overrated!! 

 I'm really not this tan so I don't know why I look like this. Not the most flattering picture but oh well. Hope everyone is doing great!!! =D

Ok, so I am a total camera whore. It's no secret. Unless my grandma wants to take a picture with me. Then it just turns into this -

I learned how to cross my eyes pretty recently and decided to take full advantage of my new talent. Hence my awful pictures.  My sister totally posted this as her default pic on her facebook page. It's a real good look. Thank you so much, Sissy! But why am I eating a banana anyways? Hahaha! I am pretty sure I was drunk here. 

 OK, I know I am going to hell. Yes, I was dressed like this in public. Haha. This was taken in Japan Town in San Francisco back in 08. What an idiot, right? That's ok. I saw this sign pointing to nothing so I decided, why not have it point at me?

This is for you!! Haha! =) After I ate the oysters, the taste wouldn't leave my mouth and that's not good!!! So I remedied that with this! Oh, it was delicious!!! Kinda cold up in SF last night but it was worth it!!

Boring.

This post probably won't be as fun as my other ones. Umm.. Just a little update about what I did yesterday. I was so excited about my new banner that I totally forgot to post this picture last night. 

I had a little night trip to Fishermen's Wharf up in the city and had some of the freshest oysters ever! They were so fresh that there was a little blue shrimp wiggling around!!! That pretty much creeped me out but I still inhaled these bad boys. After my oysters, I had a chocolate covered banana and it was AMAZING! I do have a picture of that but I don't know if I should post it. Haha. 

One post daily is pretty good! I am proud of myself!!! Talk to you tomorrow!!!
